Dale Chihuly is recognized as the most important artist working in the medium of glass. He has won numerous awards, and in 1986 became one of only four Americans to be honored by a one-man exhibition at the Louvre in Paris. Chihuly is co-founder of the Pilchuck Glass School outside Seattle, which draws students and teachers from around the globe. Dale Chihuly is based in Seattle, WA.

I am keeping this calendar because it's large and has gorgeous photography of Chihuly's work. I mistakenly ordered a 2018 calendar for 2019, which was my own fault since it's very clearly marked. If you ask me, they shouldn't sell outdated calendars on Amazon but I suppose some people may want them just for the artwork or to complete a collection (?) - strange, but plausible.Rather than return a low priced item like this, I went through and marked all the days correctly. I would totally buy the same calendar for the correct year though...great quality and nice large spaces to write on. At least now I know why it was cheaply priced!
Saw the Chihuly exhibit in Seattle and became an avid fan. I bought a calendar for 2017 while there and enjoyed it so much, I wanted another for 2018. The colors are brilliant in the art pieces and it is lovely to have them itranslated to my space.
Very small print makes it almost impossible to see the numbers. It is completely useless for us.It might be ok if you were to hang it right next to your desk or within a couple feet away.
I bought Chihuly calendar for 2 year now. The one in 2015 is a better one. Some of the photos in 2018 just not as great as the other year's selections. Lighting is too strong(noon light) or the objects been cut strangely.
I really like Dale Chihuly's glass and have seen his exhibits several times. Even saw him in his hot shop, in Tacoma. This is the fourth wall calendar I have bought. I enjoy looking at the picture every month and save the calendars!
